We are so very glad that you are visiting our website. We hope that the information provided will help to give you a little picture of who we are.
St. John’s is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod.
- In the triune God- Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- We believe that Jesus Christ (the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity) is True God from all eternity and that he took flesh to die for our sins.
- We believe that through contrition and repentance we are forgive, restored and empowered to rise up “new” empowered to love and serve.
- We believe that Holy Scripture in God’s inspired, inerrant, infallible Word. This Word cannot be changed or adapted based on cultural understanding. The Word of God is the source for all teaching!
- We believe in infant Baptism- as God’s grace is available to all people despite their age and competency level. We do however believe that it is the role of the church, parents, and godparents to nurture these children in the on true faith.
- We believe that Christ comes to us very personally in his true body and blood offering us forgiveness and life through the life giving meal. We believe in a REAL BODILY PRESENCE.
