“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Acts 20:35

Each Budget year St. John’s considers various ministries and care groups to support. We feel that it is important the we serve “as the church” to our community. One of the ways we can do that is by demonstrating our love to groups who are sharing love and support to those in need or those looking to grow in their own faith.

This year we will joyfully support the following:

  • The Eastern District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod
  • Concordia Seminary in St. Louis
  • The Western New York Law Enforcement Helpline
  • St. Luke Lutheran Church Food Pantry in Cheektowaga, New York
  • The Depew Community Center in Depew, New York
  • Pioneer on the Lake in Angola, New York
  • St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blossom, New York (after fire destroyed their building)
  •
