Dear Confirmands and Parents,
The 2023-2024 Confirmation season will begin on Sunday September 10th at 10:00am.
These lessons are all based on the study of God’s Word, the six chief parts of Luther’s Small Catechism and are intended to spark conversation as we grow together in faith and apply our faith to life. The Confirmation program is a three year program and students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade are encouraged to participate. Upon completion of the lessons and other required components, students in 8th grade will be invited on the day of Pentecost to Confirm their faith acknowledging their role in the church and world.
Faith formation is an important aspect of our lives and it is our faith that shapes us as we love and serve as God’s people in our homes and communities. Not only that, it is our faith that sees us through every season of life as we are assured of peace and hope in Jesus.
I certainly understand the demands of schedules and the tug and pull so often experienced. It is my hope and prayer that you will take serious your faith formation and commit to this years faith instruction.
